Day 1: Maun – Okavango delta
Upon arrival, you will be picked at the airport. Lunch can be organized for you upon your arrival in Maun depending upon your international flight schedule. We begin our outing to the Okavango delta. We drive out of Maun for around an hour drive to Boro mokoro station. Upon arrival in mokoro station, you will meet your poler and guide then you will be informed and get into mokoro barbecue along the channels and fingered papyrus of the Okavango delta for around 3 or 4 hours. Our well-disposed proficient camp staff, chef and a camp hand will welcome you upon your arrival in the Okavango delta and take you to officially set up a campsite in the island. There will be sufficient time for you to unwind and invigorate after the long excursion. Have lunch then go for afternoon bush walks. Explore the area a bit then gets back to the camp. Dinner will be served.
Day 2: Okavango Delta
Early wake up then have breakfast, depart for bush walk before the sun rise. The day will be spent exploring the Okavango delta and this activity will offer the visitors a unique opportunity to encounter the remarkable creators that call this lush oasis home. Get back to the camp and have time to unwind and invigorate after a long walk. Lunch will be served. Depart for afternoon mokoro/ traditional dugout canoe rides on the waterways of the Okavango delta. Enjoying glimpses of stealthy wildlife. Return to the camp in the afternoon. Have shower and dinner will be served.
Day 3: Okavango Delta
Most days at camp follow a similar pattern, early wake up, have breakfast then go for a bush walk before the sun rise to explore the area once again in search of possible game. Gets back to the camp for lunch and siesta. Go for mokoro rides, elephant, hippos and crocodiles occur in abundance in the deltas reed-lined waterways. Return back to camp in the later evening. Dinner will be served. Afterwards sit around the fire for story telling by your professional guide and the lovely staff.
Day 4: Okavango delta – Maun
Early wake up and do bush walk one last time, get back to the camp, have breakfast then depart to Boro station where you will find your transfer waiting for you. Then drive back to Maun, Drop off at the airport for international flight.
