Welcome to Khwai Elephant Pool Campsite, a peaceful and authentic bush camping experience in the heart of the Khwai Community Concession in northern Botswana.
Situated just 1.5 km from Magotho Community Campsite and approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Mbudi Campsite, our campsite lies conveniently on the main road leading south towards Chobe National Park. We are only about 3 km from the Khwai main road, making us an easily accessible base for exploring one of Botswana’s most wildlife-rich areas on the edge of the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve.
We offer 10 large, spacious campsites, many shaded by trees, giving guests plenty of room to set up camp in comfort. Facilities include a shared ablution block with six showers and six toilets, running water, and an office block for assistance during your stay.
At Khwai Elephant Pool Campsite, the bush comes to you. Visitors frequently enjoy close encounters with elephants, as well as other game and predators near the river. The atmosphere is quiet and wild — perfect for those seeking a genuine, unpretentious safari camping experience.
