Day 1: Maun to Mokoro Station & Into the Delta
Your mokoro adventure begins in Maun, where your guide meets you for a safari briefing. From here, transfer to the mokoro station and meet your skilled polers. After loading the gear, step into your mokoro and glide into the Okavango wilderness, drifting through tranquil channels lined with papyrus and water lilies. Arrive at your remote island campsite. After a delicious bush lunch, enjoy an afternoon mokoro excursion and a guided walk, where you may encounter elephants, antelope, and an incredible variety of birdlife.
